The Under Armour Curry 1 "MVP" stands out as a pivotal design in Steph Curry's debut signature shoe collection. Shortly after Stephen Curry was honored with the Most Valuable Player award for the 2014-2015 NBA season, Under Armour unveiled a special black and gold iteration of the Curry One to commemorate his achievement.

Design and Features

Like other Curry One editions, the MVP version boasts a dimpled anaFoam upper that is both light and breathable, paired with a midsole featuring Under Armour's sought-after Charged Foam comfort. Before hitting retail and online stores, Curry sported this elegant colorway during the playoffs against the Memphis Grizzlies in May 2015. To fuel excitement, he also wore a player-exclusive version of the Curry One MVP during Game 2 of the NBA Finals against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. This exclusive version included graphic details across the heel, while the retail pairs remained understated with a black and white upper accented by gold highlights. Unsurprisingly, the Under Armour Curry One "MVP" quickly sold out and became one of the most coveted releases of Steph Curry's signature line.
