Conceived by Eric Avar, the Kobe 10 Elite marked a pioneering moment as the first basketball shoe using Flyknit technology crafted from recycled polyester yarn, repurposing the equivalent of five plastic bottles for each pair. Released shortly after the NBA 2015-2016 season began, during Bryant’s farewell tour, this ‘Opening Night’ design showcases a high-top silhouette with a vibrant Tour Yellow Flyknit upper, complemented by black accents and a speckled black midsole. Reflective 3M detailing graces the Kobe sheath on the tongue, while a golden Roman numeral X embellishes the heel of the outsole.
