Nike, in partnership with OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon, provides young patients the chance to design their own sneaker annually. In a remarkable effort, fifteen-year-old Sheridan Brenton, who faced over 40 surgeries after a car accident, created the Air Jordan 2 High 'Doernbecher.' This special edition sneaker includes a paisley-patterned upper with 35 perforations on the forefoot symbolic of his jersey number, complemented by black snakeskin accents on the side panel and black suede detailing on the eyestay.
