Nike Air Griffey Max 1: 25th Anniversary Edition

To mark its 25th year, Nike brought back the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 in its iconic Freshwater colors. Originally launched in 1996, this sneaker was the first in Ken Griffey Jr.’s signature lineup with Nike. Notably, Griffey sported the White Freshwater variant as a cleated model during his 1995 season, prior to the trainer's official release.

Design Details and Mariners Tribute

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 pays homage to the Seattle Mariners with its distinct white, Fresh Water, black, and red design. Featuring Nike logos and Griffey’s number 24 on the ankle strap, the shoe incorporates Fresh Water pull tabs with the Nike Swoosh on the tongue and heel. Its retro look is finalized with a white midsole accented by dark teal Air units and a black sole.
