In honor of the two-decade milestone of the original 90s classic, Nike unveiled the Air Griffey Max 1 'Volt' sneaker in May 2016.

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 marked the first signature shoe for baseball icon Ken Griffey Jr. Initially launched in 1996, this sneaker quickly became a favorite among turf trainers. Featuring a leather and nubuck upper, it is complemented by a distinct ankle strap highlighted with Griffey’s jersey number.
