Nike Sean Wotherspoon x Air Max 1/97 Pre-Release Multi-Color

Created by consignment store owner Sean Wotherspoon for the 2017 Nike Vote Forward contest, the Nike Air Max 1/97 sneaker debuted on Air Max Day 2018. This winning design merges the Air Max 97's distinctive wave-like upper with the classic midsole of the Air Max 1. Drawing inspiration from his passion for vintage clothing, the shoes feature corduroy panels reminiscent of ‘80s Nike hats and a nostalgic smiley on the insole. Completing the look are interchangeable Velcro patches on the tongue.
