Jordan New Beginnings Pack Retro High 1 & Nike Air Ship

Jordan Brand honored Michael Jordan's entry into the NBA with the release of the Jordan New Beginnings Pack 1 & Nike Air Ship, now available on Boxstock. When MJ made his on-court debut in 1984, he wore the Nike Air Ship, which was a $35 basketball shoe at the time and not associated with any athlete. With these shoes, he impressively averaged 28 points per game, helping propel the Bulls into playoff contention. The following year, the Air Jordan 1 was introduced. Despite a leg injury keeping MJ out of 64 games, the shoe made a lasting impression, remaining a fan-favorite silhouette more than thirty years later.

Design Details

The New Beginnings Pack comes with both the Air Jordan 1 High 1985 and Nike Air Ship. The Jordan 1 features a white leather upper with red overlays, alongside a white midsole, red outsole, and black Jordan Wings logo on the ankle. Conversely, the Nike Air Ship showcases an all-white leather construction with red accents on the Swoosh and ankle. It also has a white midsole, red outsole, and Nike branding on the tongue and heel. These sneakers hit the market in February 2020 with a retail price of $350.
