Jordan 16 Retro SoleFly Art Basel Overview

The Air Jordan 16 Retro SoleFly Art Basel made its debut during the 2016 Art Basel event. In collaboration with SoleFly, a Miami-based sneaker retailer, Jordan Brand finalized the design of this standout sneaker.

Drawing inspiration from the "South Beach" vibe, Boxstock developed a multi-hued sneaker, not unlike previous colorful creations by Nike. The shoe featured a pristine white leather upper combined with a similar white shroud, initially giving the impression of an entirely white sneaker. Once the shroud was opened, vivid neon pink accents emerged, accentuated by touches of turquoise.

An exceptional feature of this sneaker was its reversible shroud, distinct from other Air Jordan 16 versions. This allowed wearers to transform the white sneaker into a striking hot pink design across the upper. Released on December 3rd, 2016, the Jordan 16 Retro SoleFly Art Basel had an initial price of $275.
